I only have a day left of updating the blog for John’s trip so why not lead with a pun? Especially one that pays homage to a Shakespearian comedy!
I don’t have a whole lot to pass on from John about yesterday but I did want to clarify one thing based on a couple questions that I got. John works for the Boston Symphony Orchestra so he works for most of the year in Boston. He spends summers in western MA at Tanglewood where the BSO performs so both places are home for him.
Yesterday he rode to Shrewsbury which is about 45 miles west of Boston and stayed with a friend. Today (Friday) he will ride to his Boston home. Apologies if my references to days seem a little confusing as I am in Germany this week and we are 6 hours ahead of the Boston. So technically it is Friday morning here as I write this and Thursday evening in Boston at least for another 5 minutes. Got it? Good!
I did get the following picture texted to me by John. He was pretty excited when he stopped for lunch and asked for 2 slices and got what looks to be an entire pizza-
Maybe he looked hungry?
In the meantime if I get any more info on the day from John I will update this post when I get back in the US later today.
